We currently have vacancies for Assistant/Drivers working within our Distribution Centre based in Fakenham.   Temporary & Permanent positions are available.

The main duties will include the accurate receipt of goods in, cross referencing them against delivery notes and original orders.  Manoeuvring stock throughout the Distribution centre and shipping goods to all Company sites as necessary. These positions involve heavy lifting and manual tasks on a daily basis.

The successful candidates will have a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. We are looking for people who are of smart appearance and capable of completing distribution paperwork.  A full clean driving licence is essential and a Class C1 (7.5 tonne) and a valid CPC qualification would be desirable.

These positions are based on a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 5.00pm and will include occasional Saturdays on a rotational basis.

JOB TITLE: Furniture Sales Advisor

REPORTING TO: Furniture Manager

DEPARTMENT: Furniture (Beds) at the NORWICH STORE

MAIN OBJECTIVES: To provide sales and service advice to customers on a daily basis


Preferred experience of selling within a bed department but not essential.
To achieve maximum turnover.
To identify the customers needs and serve them in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Offer advice on merchandise and show alternatives where necessary.
Where appropriate, sell through into other departments and secure secondary sale if possible.
Explain Company’s sales and after sales service.
Complete appropriate sales documentation in accordance with current procedures.
Monitor and maintain order progression as required and keeping customers informed.
Keep up to date on product knowledge and selling points of merchandise.
Assist in merchandise displays and maintain a high standard of appearance.
Update display tickets as and when necessary.
Record and maintain all information relating to manufacturers and head office.
Maintain a clean, tidy and businesslike appearance at all times.
To carry out other reasonable duties requested by the Company.


Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, five days per week to include weekends and bank holidays.
