How to make the most of your luggage allocation when flying

Are you getting ready for your summer holidays? With the way the weather has been so far this summer you are probably heading abroad! If you are flying you need to be aware of the restrictions around the size of luggage you can take and what can go in your bags. HAND LUGGAGE

With a lot of airlines now charging for hold luggage it is tempting to try and travel light and only take hand luggage. This can be done – but takes some careful planning!

Size of your bag

Hand luggage, for most airlines, can be no bigger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm so make sure that you buy the right bag that fits in with these restrictions but is the maximum capacity you can take.

Now, this is the really tricky part as if you are only taking hand luggage the main thing you are going to come up against is the ‘no liquids over 100ml rule’:
