WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT OUR FAKENHAM AND NORWICH STORES ARE NOW OPEN.

We are delighted that our stores are able to open welcoming customers old and new.

Our in store teams have all been fully trained on the very latest Government guidelines and that we comply with the Covid Secure status.

To ensure we can continue to operate safely for the benefit of our in store teams and our customers we have changed the way we do things.

We are operating revised opening times as part of our Covid Secure status.

Monday: 10am to 4.30pm
Tuesday: 10am to 4.30pm
Wednesday: 10am to 4.30pm
Thursday: 10am to 4.30pm
Friday: 10am to 4.30pm
Saturday: 10am to 4.30pm
Sunday: 10.30am to 4.30pm

Social distancing

We are fortunate to have large stores and facilities, which make social distancing a little easier, but to make sure please observe the following.

Please keep 2m from you and other shoppers and Aldiss team members, there are markers and reminders throughout the stores.

Members of our team have been designated and are on hand to ensure social distancing takes place.

When asking advice our team members will ensure there is 2m between you and them – it might look like we are backing away – but it is just social distancing.

At till points and desks we have introduced safe queuing, screens and distance controls – please follow the signs explaining the procedure:

We encourage you to use cards, or contactless methods when paying for your purchases.

To avoid congestion we have introduced some one way systems with in and out doors and one way up and one way down on our staircases. Please follow the arrows.

Lifts should also only be used by one family group at a time.

We have reduced the number of people working in any given area, to give everyone a little more space.

Hand Hygiene

We have clean well maintained customer toilets, where we recommend you wash your hands while in the stores, there are also hand sanitisers provided at key points enabling you to follow the government advice on hand hygiene.

Additional cleaning

We have reviewed our cleaning regime to include regular cleaning of:

Door handles, Hand rails, Lift buttons, Barriers, Keypads

Coffee shops will remain closed for the time being.

Play your part

Before you visit us please check the following:

  • You, or a member of your household are not suffering from the symptoms of CoVid 19. If this is the case please postpone your visit or shop with us at aldiss.com
  • Your family group is as small as possible.
  • Only bring young children to the store if absolutely necessary.
  • For the time being please do not bring pets with you when visiting the store.

Our homewares are available for contactless Free* delivery to make life right now a little more comfortable.

Changes we have made to offer "contactless" delivery.

  • Available on selected smaller items of furniture and homewares.
  • Single driver where possible.
  • Delivery made to garage, garden, patio, driveway or agreed safe place.
  • Goods remain in packaging.
  • Social distancing and hand hygiene guidance followed on delivery, signing for your purchase and when picking your goods.
  • When we arrange furniture deliveries with you, we will request confirmation no one in the household is currently showing symptoms of Covid 19.
  • We will phone just before furniture delivery to ensure the delivery process is understood.

Our Covid Secure 2 man furniture delivery service is also available.

Each delivery team works as an individual unit to reduce the risk of transmission.

Vehicles cabs and touch points are cleaned at the beginning and end of each day

Social distancing and hand hygiene guidance followed on delivery, signing for your purchase and when picking your goods.

For online orders please let us know in the delivery notes if you are self-isolating so we can update our delivery drivers.

Homewares Delivery

Enjoy FREE delivery* on orders over £30 (or £4.95 for lower value orders). Deliveries may take a few days more than usual but are worth the wait. Available to most postcodes nationwide, restrictions apply.

Local Furniture Delivery

£35 for any number of furniture items. 

Our delivery team offer a two person service which includes delivery to your room of choice, unpacking and removing packaging where required. Please note disposal of old furniture is not included in the delivery cost. Please speak to our furniture team to enquire about this service when you are contacted about your order. Available to most postcodes in the Norfolk area and some of Suffolk.

National furniture delivery

All National deliveries may still be a little delayed – subject to health restrictions being lifted. Normal dispatch times after this will apply from this date. You are still welcome to order but please check the estimated delivery date when you checkout to confirm you are happy before placing your order. For those who have placed orders

Please rest assured it is safe in our hands and will be fulfilled. Certain circumstances outside of our control, may mean orders are delayed, however we will keep you updated directly as the situation develops.

For those who have ordered, or purchased items and were looking to refund or exchange.

We have committed to extend our refund and exchange policy for a further 14 days following the resumption of normal trading, as we are unable to process these during the period of closure.
