Top 3 furniture collections for a stylish bedroom

Whether you’re doing a complete revamp of your décor scheme or are looking to add a few new pieces for a quick refresh, choosing furniture for your bedroom requires some careful thought.

To give you some interior inspiration, our director of furniture buying, Victoria Jackson, shares three of the most popular bedroom furniture collections available at Aldiss.

  1. Ercol Teramo

One of our most in-demand branded furniture collections is Ercol Teramo, which is ideal for creating a modern, laid-back look. The bedroom range takes inspiration from Ercol’s well-known design features, including headboards that gradually become wider at the bottom, slender legs and thin tops. With a matte oak finish, the pieces have that distinctive ‘Scandi’ style that is very fashionable at the moment.

One of the best things about this collection is its versatility. The furniture is suitable for both master bedrooms and guest rooms, with a choice of either a double or king-sized bed and variety of wardrobes, bedside tables and chests of drawers to select from.

If you want to create a coordinated look throughout your home, Aldiss also stock matching Ercol Teramo dining furniture

  1. Hastings Blue Bedroom

Dark blue is having a moment in the spotlight – from feature walls to furniture and everything in-between, we can’t get enough of using this eye-catching colour in our interiors. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that our Hastingpainted blue furniture range is proving a popular choice with fashion-forward shoppers at Aldiss.

There are three colour choices within the Hastings range (including Hastings Stone, which works well with understated interiors), but if you really want to make a style statement, blue is the go-to option. The dark colour contrasts beautifully with the oak detailing and it’s a great way to add a pop of colour to a décor scheme without being too overbearing.

Made from wood veneer with solid oak tops, Hastings' bedroom furniture offers great value for money and is perhaps most suited to spare bedrooms – although it can be used in master rooms too. It’s also slightly smaller than our other ranges, which is handy if you’re working with a compact space.

Hastings Blue dining sets are also available.

  1. Heritage Bedroom

For a timeless look that never falls out of favour, you can’t go wrong with the Heritage bedroom collection. Characterised by its rustic oak finish, chunky design and stylish cup handles, this furniture is ideal for master bedrooms and complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.

There’s a huge range of sizes and options to choose from with this collection (as well as the Heritage dining range), including beds with upholstered headboards if you want to add some contrast to the wood, and a selection of spacious chests of drawers and wardrobes.

If you're looking to balance style with practicality, many pieces from the Heritage collection feature in-built storage to help maximise space. For example, there's a bed with pull-out drawers, a dressing table with a hidden compartment for jewellery, and a footstool with a lid that lifts up for added storage.
