Our Spring Summer 2017 Home Trend Forecast
The outlook is bright. Spring/ summer 17’s home trends include graphic pops of colour, punchy pastels and a new twist on classic monochrome – and they’ll be in store at Aldiss soon.

Eastern escape
This glamorous look will transport you to faraway lands, without leaving the comfort of your own home.
Bring out your inner magpie and look for metallics, jewel detailing, luxe fabrics and paisley prints.
Geo pop
Did you pay attention in geometry lessons? SS17 invites you to look at the geo trend from a new angle. Tessellate hexagons, triangles and rectangles in primary colours for a look that’s so very now – it doesn’t matter if you go off at a tangent.
Green house
Whether you’re a serious runner or cyclist or prefer to take things at a more sedate pace, getting out into nature is known for its positive benefits on our wellbeing. The Norwegians – known for being a happy nation - positively embrace the concept, which they call friluftsliv (translated as ‘free air life’) and get into the great outdoors in all weathers. With green set to be one of 2017’s hottest hues, why not bring some of this calming colour indoors?
Just rust
This is a trend which will spice up your home. Take a palette of cinnamon, turmeric and mustard and mix them up with sumptuous velvet for a real luxe feel.
Monochrome
Black and white is a timeless, chic combination – but there’s no reason to stick to stripes. Mix things up and add some fun with playful polka dots, paint splatter patterns and ditsy floral prints.
Ode de Nature
Reflect the colours and textures of the great outdoors, for an easy, breezy interior scheme that’s like a breath of fresh air. Think relaxing sky blue and earthy soft grey and natural materials such as wool, stripped back wood, cotton and rattan.
Very floral
Not for shrinking violets, this season more is more when it comes to florals. Big, bright, blooming prints are everywhere from bed linen and cushions to statement armchairs.
