  1. Promoter: This competition is run by W J Aldiss
  2. Eligibility: Open to UK residents aged 18+. 
  3. How to enter: To enter, participants must:
    • complete the entry form in full,
    • sign up to the W J Aldiss newsletter, and
    • answer the competition question correctly.
      Entries that do not include both newsletter sign-up and the correct answer will not be counted.
  4. No purchase necessary: No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
  5. Entry limit: One entry per person. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.
  6. Competition period: Entries open on JAN 8th 2026 and close at Midnight on Feb 6th 2026. Entries received after the closing date/time will not be valid.
  7. Prize: 1 x Cotswold Accent Chair in the winner’s chosen colour (Blush, Sand or Grey). The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
  8. Winner selection: One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries that have correctly answered the competition question and successfully subscribed to the newsletter.
  9. Winner notification: The winner will be contacted via email within 5 days of the closing date. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, W J Aldiss reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  10. Delivery: Prize delivery is included to UK mainland addresses only. Please allow up to 14 days for delivery.
  11. Newsletter sign-up: By entering, participants agree to receive marketing emails from W J Aldiss. Participants can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. Unsubscribing after entering does not affect the validity of the entry already submitted.
  12. Data protection: Personal data will be used to administer the competition and for newsletter marketing in line with W J Aldiss's Privacy Policy.
  13. General: W J Aldiss reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw or suspend the competition in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control. W J Aldiss's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
